Infant Teacher Position

Job Description:

Lead caregivers are responsible for providing and maintaining a nurturing and educational environment for the children in their care. Caregivers report to the Director/ Assistant Director.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in childcare with Infants and/or toddlers.
• High school graduate or GED
• Must be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the children and program.
• Meet the requirements of the state.
• Ability to communicate effectively ( verbal and written); ability to maintain emotional control under stress
• Physical Demands/ Environmental Factors:
• Ability to routinely lift children a minimum of 25lbs. but not limited to
• Make lesson plans and activities
• Must be able to multi task
• Be able to interact with children, sing, dance, read, play
• Must be knowledgeable to change diapers and use daily logs
• Willing to learn and have proper communication with Parents, Teachers and Management.
• Most of all have fun along with the rest of the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
